Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has organized a discussion meeting in the capital to mark the second anniversary of the July Movement. The program will be held on Tuesday (August 4) at 3 pm at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) auditorium in the capital.
This information was confirmed from BNP's media cell.
BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will speak at the event as the chief guest. Party Secretary General and Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will preside over the meeting.
Family members of those martyred in the July Movement and injured July fighters will take part in the discussion meeting. In addition, leaders of allied political parties have been invited alongside BNP's central leaders.
According to party leaders, the discussion meeting has been organized to commemorate the context of the July Movement, the experience of the democratic movement, and the sacrifice of the martyrs.
