Invited by the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the delegation, led by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Naib-e-Amir Professor Mujibur Rahman MP, includes: Md. Nurul Amin MP, Dr. Md. Keramat Ali MP, Dr. SM Khaliduzzaman, Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis MP Sayeduddin Ahmad Hanjalah, and National Citizen Party (NCP) chief coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari. According to sources, the funeral and burial of Ayatollah Khamenei will take place in multiple stages from July 4 to 9. The 11-party delegation will participate in the funeral and state ceremonies of Iran's supreme leader, Shahid Ayatollah al-Sayyid Ali Husseini Khamenei, to express deep sorrow, condolences, and solidarity with the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Jamaat stated that during the Iran visit, according to the official program, the delegation will hold courtesy meetings with the country's top leadership and relevant government authorities. Concerned parties hope that this visit will further strengthen the long-standing fraternal relations, mutual understanding, and bilateral cooperation between the people of Bangladesh and Iran.
