The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has warned that gusty or stormy winds with a maximum speed of 60 kilometers per hour may blow over 9 districts of the country by noon on Friday (July 3). At the same time, the agency has also informed about the possibility of rain or thundershowers in these areas.

In the warning issued by the Meteorological Department for the country's inland river ports, it has been said that from 5 am to 1 pm on Friday, temporary gusty or stormy winds with speeds of 45 to 60 kilometers per hour from the south or southeast direction may blow over the regions of Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, and Sylhet.

There is also a possibility of thundershowers during this time. For this reason, the river ports in the concerned areas have been asked to display cautionary signal number 1.
