Ahead of the match, fans are highly curious about Argentina's probable starting XI. Although coach Lionel Scaloni did not reveal the final XI in the press conference, he gave several indications of his plans.

The biggest discussions are about the return of center-back Cristian Romero from injury and whether Lautaro Martinez or Julian Alvarez will be seen in the attack.

Romero could not play in the first match of the World Cup due to a right knee injury. However, he has now fully recovered and returned to training. Scaloni said that Romero is ready to play the match and a final decision will be made after last-minute observation.

Considering the hot and humid weather in Miami, the team was given relatively light training to maintain the players' physical fitness.

Meanwhile, a battle is going on between experienced Nicolas Tagliafico and young Facundo Medina for the left side of defense. Although Tagliafico has returned from injury, Medina has performed well in recent matches.

Argentina's probable starting XI:

Emiliano Martinez (goalkeeper); Nahuel Molina, Cristian Romero, Lisandro Martinez, Nicolas Tagliafico/Facundo Medina; Rodrigo De Paul, Enzo Fernandez, Alexis Mac Allister, Thiago Almada; Lionel Messi and Lautaro Martinez/Julian Alvarez.
