Ramp and Revelio Labs conducted a joint study analyzing data from nearly 22,000 organizations. It showed that organizations consistently investing in AI technology saw their workforce grow by an average of 10.2 percent. New hiring trends were observed not only in the technology department but also in sales, administration, customer service, finance, and marketing departments.
However, researchers caution that this does not mean AI is creating new jobs in all sectors. This is because rapidly expanding organizations are generally also ahead in adopting AI. Therefore, it is not possible to say with certainty in all cases whether the increase in workforce is a direct effect of AI or a result of the organization's natural growth.

Earlier, various studies had mentioned the risk of new job seekers being at risk due to AI. A study by Goldman Sachs noted that in the past year, approximately 16,000 jobs were lost per month due to AI. Young and new workers were the most affected.
However, the new research data presents a different picture. It showed that entry-level jobs in tech-dependent organizations have also increased by nearly 12 percent.
According to experts, AI is not just a technology for replacing human work; in many cases, it can also increase productivity and create new employment opportunities. Using AI in tasks such as software development, error detection, data analysis, and creating new products is reducing costs and increasing work speed.
However, organizations that only use AI experimentally or have subscriptions are not seeing significant benefits. Researchers believe that real benefits from AI are possible only through long-term planning, skill development, and investment in technology.
According to them, the gap between organizations that are ahead in using AI and those that are lagging behind may widen further in the future. Therefore, new possibilities will open up for organizations that can effectively utilize the technology.
