Saudi Ambassador to Dhaka Dr. Abdullah Jafar H. bin Abia paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. During the meeting, he handed over a letter from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud to the Prime Minister.
The meeting was held on Monday (July 6) at 9:40 am in the Cabinet Division of the Bangladesh Secretariat.

During the meeting, various issues of mutual interest between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia were discussed. They also exchanged views on further strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing mutual cooperation between the two countries.

Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman, the Prime Minister's Foreign Affairs Adviser Humayun Kabir, and Saudi Deputy Ambassador to Dhaka Ibrahim Abdullah were present during the meeting.
