He said these things on Monday (July 6) morning as the chief guest at an event organized to mark International Rural Development Day and the 47th founding anniversary of CIRDAP.
Rural development is the government's priority, modern facilities will be provided to every village: Mirza Fakhrul
The Local Government Minister said rural development is one of the main agendas of the current government. The government is working to improve the quality of life of rural farmers through agricultural assistance, expansion of irrigation facilities, and the agricultural card program.
He further said that in addition to ensuring modern civic amenities in every village, a corruption-free local government system must be established. Through this, the benefits of rural development projects can be effectively delivered to the marginalized population.

Mirza Fakhrul said the government is working to improve the quality of life of the poor and marginalized through various social safety net programs, including the family card. At the same time, importance is being given to ensuring inclusive development.
He further said that for nearly five decades, CIRDAP has been playing a vital role in rural development. The organization's contribution, especially in creating rural entrepreneurs and addressing the challenges of climate change, is significant.
