My body should not be taken to FDCI - Rozina angry over artist association election

She made this comment while talking to journalists at her residence in Uttara, Dhaka on Sunday (July 5).

Regarding the artist association election, Rozina alleged that the environment was not fair this time. She claimed to have observed various irregularities and inconsistencies in the voting and result announcement process.

Expressing disappointment over the current environment of FDCI, she said that once FDCI was a symbol of respect and dignity for artists, but that environment no longer exists. In her words, there is a decline in respect and values at FDCI. That is why she does not want her body to be taken there after her death.

The popular actress also commented that despite being associated with the film industry for a long time, she now feels undervalued. She said that if proper respect and fairness for artists are not ensured, people's trust in FDCI may decrease further in the future.

It is noteworthy that several candidates have already alleged irregularities regarding the Bangladesh Film Artists Association election. However, no official statement has been issued by the artist association regarding these allegations so far.

After Rozina's comments were published, widespread discussion has begun on the matter in the film industry and social media.
