In the latest price adjustment, the price of gold per bhori has been reduced by Tk 3,266. As a result, the price of one bhori of 22-carat gold including VAT has been set at Tk 2,25,290.
Gold prices in the country's market today
On Monday (July 6), BAJUS announced the new prices in a notice. The new rates became effective from 12:15 pm on Tuesday.
According to BAJUS's latest price list, one bhori of 21-carat gold is being sold at Tk 2,15,142. The price of one bhori of 18-carat gold is Tk 1,84,757, and the price of one bhori of traditional method gold has been set at Tk 1,50,932.

Earlier, on July 3, BAJUS had increased gold prices. At that time, the price of one bhori of 22-carat gold was increased by Tk 4,374 to Tk 2,28,556.
BAJUS said that the price has been adjusted anew due to a decrease in the price of pure gold in the local market. Gold prices are being regularly revised to keep pace with market conditions.
So far this year, BAJUS has adjusted gold prices 87 times. Of these, prices have increased 43 times, decreased 43 times, and once the price was changed due to an adjustment in value-added tax.
