Gold price rises again after two consecutive drops, how much per bhori?
BAJUS stated that due to the increase in the price of pure gold in the local market, the new price including VAT has been set considering the overall situation.

BAJUS said this price will remain effective in all jewelry establishments in the country until further decision. However, wages will be added separately according to the design and craftsmanship of the ornaments.
The organization further stated that VAT will be included in the selling price of gold and silver ornaments. Therefore, VAT cannot be collected separately from customers. Additionally, in the case of ornament exchange and purchase, the previous rule will remain, excluding VAT, wages, and stone value.
Earlier, on July 9, BAJUS had reduced the price by Tk 3,324 per bhori, setting the price of 22-carat gold at Tk 2,21,966 per bhori.
So far this year, the price of gold has been adjusted 89 times. Among these, the price has increased 44 times, decreased 44 times, and VAT has been adjusted once.
