PM instructs BNP leaders and activists to stand by flood victims

On Friday (July 10), this information was revealed at a reunion event of former students of Government Bangla College in Mirpur, Dhaka, by the Prime Minister's Advisor and Spokesperson of the Prime Minister's Office, Dr. Mahdi Amin.

He said the Prime Minister has instructed the administration to remain highly active in assisting flood-affected people. Additionally, he has called upon BNP leaders and activists to stand by the victims on a party level.

Dr. Mahdi Amin informed that Tk 2.15 crore has been allocated from the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund to assist flood victims. Furthermore, 2,500 metric tons of rice have been distributed in the affected areas.

He said the government is working sincerely to meet the expectations of the people, and all relevant state agencies, including the administration, are working to deliver necessary relief and assistance to the affected people.
