How much is one bhori of gold selling for today after the price increase?
Gold prices have increased again in the domestic market. The Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) raised the price by Tk 2,216 per bhori on Friday (July 10) and set a new rate. As a result, gold is being sold at this new price from today, Saturday (July 11).

According to the new price, the price of 22-carat gold per bhori (11.664 grams) has been set at Tk 2,24,182 including VAT.

Additionally, the price of 21-carat gold per bhori is Tk 2,14,093, 18-carat gold is Tk 1,83,883, and the price of traditional method gold per bhori has been set at Tk 1,50,232.

BAJUS said that this price adjustment has been made considering changes in the international market and local market conditions.

Earlier, on July 9, BAJUS had reduced gold prices. That day, the price of 22-carat gold per bhori was reduced by Tk 3,324 to Tk 2,21,966. At the same time, the price of 21-carat gold was Tk 2,11,993, 18-carat gold was Tk 1,82,075, and traditional method gold was Tk 1,48,774.

So far this year, gold prices in the domestic market have been adjusted a total of 89 times. Among these, prices increased 44 times, decreased 44 times, and VAT was adjusted once.

On the other hand, in 2025, gold prices were adjusted a total of 93 times in the domestic market. That year, prices were increased 64 times and decreased 29 times.
