The Deputy Minister said these things in various roadside meetings on Saturday (July 11) afternoon while visiting several flood-affected areas in Khagrachari and distributing relief materials among the affected people.
The Deputy Minister said the government is monitoring the current situation round the clock. The Prime Minister herself is also inquiring about the flood-affected people, and following her instructions, he has come to visit the affected areas. Relief assistance is being ensured quickly to alleviate the suffering of the affected people.
The Deputy Minister praised the combined role of the local administration, army, law enforcement agencies, public representatives, and various political and social organizations in tackling the flood. He said that through everyone's coordinated efforts, it has been possible to stand by the affected people, and this cooperation will continue.
