The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) informed this in a press release on Sunday (July 12).
According to ISPR, army personnel are reaching remote flood-hit areas and distributing relief materials among the affected people. Alongside, safe drinking water is being supplied to address the shortage of clean water, and necessary emergency items are also being distributed.
Additionally, in coordination with the local administration, the army is actively working on rescuing flood victims, providing assistance, and carrying out overall relief operations.
ISPR said that this humanitarian assistance operation will continue in the flood-affected areas until the situation returns to normal.
