Rehabilitation activities for flood victims have started: Finance Minister

He said these things after distributing relief among the flood victims in the Patenga area of Chattogram on Friday (July 17).

The Finance Minister informed that the distribution of rice, cooked food, and dry food for the affected people is ongoing. Alongside this, rehabilitation activities have also started. He also assured that government assistance will continue until the rehabilitation is completed.

He further said that roads in various areas of Chattogram have been damaged due to the floods. The concerned authorities have been instructed to repair these roads quickly, and repair work has also started.

After distributing relief, the Finance Minister left Patenga for Chandanaish. Later, he will distribute relief among the flood-affected people in various areas of Chattogram, including Satkania, Lohagara, and Banskhali.
