He made these remarks while attending a social event in Southikanda village, Gharua Union, Bhanga Upazila, Faridpur on Friday (July 17). On the day, he performed Jummah prayers and had lunch at the home of his university classmate Baki Matubbar.

The Deputy Speaker said that their goal is to establish the National Parliament as a symbol of the people's hopes and aspirations. Efforts are underway to make the parliament more effective, rising above party divisions, under the leadership of the Leader of the House and Prime Minister, with the cooperation of the Leader of the Opposition.

He said that the three important organs of the state are the legislature, the judiciary, and the executive. Everyone is working to build a modern and prosperous Bangladesh through coordination among these three institutions.

Kayser Kamal further said that the sacrifices of the people of the country and the students and youths who participated in the 2024 mass uprising will be remembered for building a new Bangladesh. The path for a new Bangladesh has been paved through their blood and sacrifices.

He said that in the past, many people were victims of murder, disappearance, and torture. Learning from that experience, the patience, tolerance, and cooperation of the people are needed to further strengthen the democratic state system. Democracy is now moving forward, and everyone must work together to institutionalize it.

At that time, Member of Parliament for Faridpur-4 constituency Shahidul Islam Babu said that this visit of the Deputy Speaker was entirely personal. He came to attend a social event at the invitation of a university friend. He also commented that he is performing his duties by maintaining coordination between the government and the opposition in running the National Parliament.
