On Wednesday (July 29) at noon, the Islami Bank Conscious Customers Forum organized this program in front of the main office of Islami Bank in Motijheel, the capital.

Protest in front of Islami Bank demanding arrest of Sahbuddin Chuppu
At the rally, speakers alleged that Sahbuddin Chuppu had cooperated in the irregularities, corruption and embezzlement that took place in the country's banking sector, including Islami Bank, through the S Alam Group. They demanded an impartial investigation into these allegations and bringing the culprits under the law.
The speakers said that exemplary punishment must be ensured for the persons involved in destroying the banking sector and their accomplices. At the same time, they also demanded effective steps to protect the interests of depositors.

The protesters chanted various slogans demanding the arrest of Sahbuddin Chuppu, bringing those involved in the bank looting to justice, and ensuring good governance in the financial sector.
Later, the protest rally ended peacefully.
