In Golapganj, Sylhet, an allegation of attack on the convoy of the National Citizen Party (NCP) has been leveled against BNP leaders and activists.
On Thursday (July 30), the incident occurred in an area of the upazila, claimed by NCP.
NCP alleges that on their way back after a party program, an attack was carried out on the convoy carrying their leaders and activists. It is claimed that several vehicles were vandalized and several leaders and activists were injured.
After the incident, tension arose in the area, and members of law enforcement forces began working to bring the situation under control.
However, no immediate comment was available from BNP regarding this matter.
On whether any case has been filed or anyone arrested in this incident so far, the administration has not officially disclosed anything.
