On Wednesday (July 29), the incident took place at a restaurant in the Alperton Lane area of west London. Several people, led by former vice-president of Chhatra Dal Shafiqul Islam Riblu, appeared there.

In a video captured by eyewitnesses, Sh. M. Rezaul Karim is seen being asked multiple questions about disappearances, killings, corruption, and various political incidents in the country. However, he did not answer any of these questions. Later, with the help of a few people present, he left the place.

Regarding the incident, former Chhatra Dal leader Shafiqul Islam Riblu claimed that they went to the restaurant after receiving news and asked the former minister about various allegations. However, without making any statement, he left the place.

He further claimed that earlier in the same area, former foreign minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud had also faced a similar situation and he too left the place.

No immediate comment was available from Sh. M. Rezaul Karim or Dr. Hasan Mahmud regarding the incident.
