DC Lake to be developed into a high-quality mini tourist center: State Minister Tuku

He said these things while speaking as the chief guest after inaugurating a water hyacinth cleaning program at DC Lake in Tangail on Friday (July 31) morning.

The state minister said, the government has a long-term plan surrounding DC Lake. Common people will benefit through fish farming in the lake. Besides, initiatives will be taken to turn it into a modern and attractive mini tourist center.

He said, “We will try to implement the promises made to the people before the election. Work has also begun to build a large tourist center in the char areas of Tangail along the Yamuna river. The chairman of Bangladesh Tourism Corporation has already visited the area.”

Sultan Salahuddin Tuku further said, “Our work will continue until the goals are achieved. We will continue to work consistently for the development of the people.”

Present at the event were Tangail Deputy Commissioner Sharifa, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Sanjay Kumar Mohanta, former member secretary of BNP Mahmudul Haque Sanu, and leaders and activists from various levels of BNP and its associate organizations.
