He made these remarks as the chief guest at an event held at the National Press Club in the capital on Monday (August 3) morning to mark the anniversary of the July mass uprising.
Government will implement every letter of July Charter: Information Minister
The Information Minister said, “We have signed the July Charter. That signature carries the debt of the martyrs' blood. We want to implement every letter of the Charter. But that will be through parliament. There is no scope to go beyond it.”
He said the government wants to implement reforms and promises on the basis of national unity through the cooperation of all political parties in parliament and politics.

Zahir Uddin Swapan alleged that some people, speaking of different ideologies, are knowingly or unknowingly taking responsibility for carrying out conspiracies of other political forces. He urged everyone to remain vigilant in this regard.
The minister further said that political parties need to play a responsible role to uphold the country's interests, democracy, and the spirit of the July mass uprising. Only by working together in the national interest will it be possible to achieve the goals of the July Charter.
