On Friday (August 7) morning, he said these things as the chief guest at a memorial meeting of artist Mustafa Monwar at Shailkupa Upazila Parishad auditorium in Jhenaidah.
The law minister said, there are still various problems in the judiciary. I have one kind of problem, you may have another kind. Some will say corruption has taken over, some will say there is the dominance of touts and swindlers, and some will say there are structural weaknesses. But the biggest problem to me is the lack of judges with human values.
He further said, if I choose the profession of a judge, then I have to assume that I have not come to this profession like other ten jobs in society. I have come to establish justice and to carry out the God-given responsibility of justice towards people. The day judges sit on the bench with this consciousness, I believe true independent and impartial justice will be established in the country.
