He made these remarks on Saturday (August 8) morning as the chief guest at a discussion titled "Bangladesh of Tomorrow," held at the CRAB auditorium of Dhaka Reporters' Unity. The event also marked the unveiling of the book "Prime Minister Tareq Rahman's Five-Month Development Journey," edited by Rotarian M. Nazmul Hasan.
Highlighting the importance of books, Rizvi said books act as lamps that dispel darkness, and there is no substitute for books in the advancement of human civilization. He noted that scientific theories and ideas have been passed down through generations only because they were published in book form, enabling reading, practice, and further discoveries across centuries. He described books as "passports to the inner world," capable of removing darkness from both personal and external realms.
Regarding the government's five-month performance, Rizvi stated that the book contains statistics and various events detailing what the government has accomplished during this period. He mentioned initiatives such as Family Cards, Farmer Cards, canal digging, and the upcoming promise of Health Cards. The book also briefly covers the steps taken by the Prime Minister to address the gas crisis.

Rizvi said that Prime Minister Tareq Rahman has been personally visiting fields, markets, and ports across Bangladesh to ensure that the promises made before the election are being implemented. He works day and night, rewarding those who perform well while taking a firm stance against any negligence, regardless of the offender's position in the administration or political arena.
Addressing misinformation campaigns against the government, Rizvi asserted that those attempting to hinder government work and tarnish its image will see their efforts fail through this book. He emphasized that the statistical data and documented records of the Prime Minister's activities will serve as an important document for the public, helping people distinguish truth from propaganda.
The event was presided over by Rotarian M. Nazmul Hasan, Advisor to the organization, and conducted by its President, Saidur Rahman. Among others present were Member of Parliament Advocate Arifa Sultana Ruma, BNP Executive Committee member Mahbubur Rahman, and Student Party (Chhatra Dal) Vice President Touhid Awal.
