It is not right for 'primary school students' of politics to pose as 'professors': Home Minister
Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed MP said, those who are still novices or 'primary school students' in politics, if they want to behave like university professors, is not desirable at all. He said, one must learn, must go far—because the path of politics is extremely arduous and full of adversities.

He said these things at a discussion meeting titled 'Role of university teachers in overthrowing the fascist government' held at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Building of Dhaka University on Saturday (August 8). The meeting was organized on the occasion of the second anniversary of the historic July mass uprising 2024.

The Home Minister further said, 'To those who were our friends and allies, even those who were once secret, I want to say—we will debate in parliament, we will hold processions and meetings, but we will not say anything through which fascism returns again.'

He highlighted the importance of political maturity and said, 'If anyone thinks that this is only the result of a 36-day movement, and that the continuous movement of the last 17 years has no contribution—that will be political immaturity.'
