The deputy minister further said that English translations of these books are needed for Bangladeshi children living abroad, so that they too can know the country's history. Recalling the contributions of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman and Begum Khaleda Zia, he said if history is not presented to the new generation, it will be lost in the passage of time. He also called upon everyone to remain vocal in protecting the democracy achieved through the student-mass revolution of August 5, 2024.
