The High Commissioner said that the people of Bangladesh are extremely cordial and tolerant, and the relationship between the people of the two countries is very strong. He mentioned that this relationship must be preserved not only at the people's level but also at the government level.

Regarding the visa process, Dinesh Trivedi informed that the Indian government has plans to reduce the cost of obtaining visas for ordinary people, increase the number of visa centres, and increase the capacity to issue visas. He expressed the hope that these initiatives will further ease the movement and relations between the people of the two countries.
