Alleging that the opposition party speaks in the language of Sheikh Hasina, Mirza Fakhrul said that if the BNP government, which has received the people's mandate, fails to run the country, then they will get the opportunity to criticise.
The Local Government Minister said, 'After the end of fascist rule, the opportunity to build the country has arrived. During the Awami League government, cases were filed against 60 lakh people, 20,000 people were killed and 1,700 people were forcibly disappeared.'

Regarding the rise in commodity prices, he said that due to the increase in freight charges in the international market, the prices of goods have increased, and the country's gas crisis will be over soon. He further informed that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is implementing the promises made before the election step by step.
Regarding the underprivileged, the minister said that instead of providing assistance for a long time, creating income opportunities is more important. Through the 'tea stall' project, marginalised people are able to earn, which is creating new possibilities for the country.
Speaking as the special guest at the event, Ambassador Mushfiqul Fazal Ansari called for not using power as a machine for making money.
