According to court sources, after the hearing began in the morning, Pori Moni's lawyer Nilanjana Rifat Suravi informed the court that her client was on the way. If given time until around 12 noon, she would be able to appear in court. Following the application, the judge rescheduled the cross-examination for 12 noon. However, even after being called twice, Pori Moni could not arrive. She reached the court premises shortly after the court's scheduled time had passed.

Lawyer Suravi said, 'Pori Moni could not reach court on time because she was stuck in severe traffic jam. As a result, her cross-examination could not be completed on Sunday, and the court fixed November 30 as the next hearing date.'

It is to be noted that on June 8, 2021, Pori Moni alleged that she was harassed after going to Savar's Boat Club. The three accused in the case—businessman Nasiruddin Mahmud, Tuhin Siddiqui Omi and Shahidul Alam—are currently on bail. The trial against the accused began on May 18, 2022, and Pori Moni's deposition began on November 29 of the same year. The deposition process in this case, being held in a closed-door room (camera trial), is still ongoing.
