He made these remarks on Monday (August 10) afternoon while addressing the inaugural event of the "SDG Village" pilot project as the chief guest.
The Prime Minister said the government's support network is gradually expanding. He noted that achieving the SDG targets is not possible for any single ministry or department alone—collective cooperation from all stakeholders is essential.
The three villages selected under the "SDG Village" project are—Mitingachhari in Kaptai, Rangamati; Pankhali in Dakop Upazila, Khulna; and Nafanagar in Bochaganj Upazila, Dinajpur. Under this project, interventions will be carried out in line with the 17 SDG goals, including poverty reduction, waterlogging resolution, quality education, healthcare improvement, reduction of child and maternal mortality, and ensuring clean water and sanitation. Residents of Mitingachhari in Rangamati have expressed joy and gratitude over being included in the project.
