Stephen Karpin, President of Visa Asia Pacific, a leading global digital payment network company, met the Prime Minister this morning, Tuesday (August 11). During the courtesy meeting held at the Secretariat, they exchanged views on various issues related to expanding Bangladesh's digital commerce, strengthening payment security, and the country's overall digital transformation.
Earlier, yesterday Monday, Stephen Karpin arrived in Dhaka on a three-day visit. He will remain in Bangladesh until next August 12. His delegation includes Suresh Sethi, Visa's Group Country Manager for India and South Asia.

It has been learned that during this meeting with Prime Minister Tareq Rahman, the future prospects and necessary initiatives for Bangladesh's digital transactions were discussed.
