Prime Minister's meeting with AmCham delegation; assurance of all kinds of support for foreign investment

He said this during a courtesy meeting with a delegation of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham) at the meeting room of the Cabinet Division in the Secretariat on Tuesday. Prime Minister's Assistant Press Secretary Gazi Shahriar Pamir informed this.

President of AmCham Bangladesh and Vice President of Mastercard Syed Mohammad Kamal led the eight-member delegation.

The delegates informed the Prime Minister that the new committee of AmCham took charge about two months ago. The committee is working tirelessly to attract more American investment to Bangladesh and strengthen bilateral commercial ties.

The Prime Minister also said that the government is committed to creating a friendly and supportive business environment for foreign investors.

Commerce Minister Khondker Abdul Muktadir, Prime Minister's Adviser on Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology and Science and Technology Rehan Asif Asad, and Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) Executive Chairman Ashik Chowdhury were present during the meeting.
