During this time, views were exchanged on media management of the Prime Minister's visit, projecting Bangladesh's positions and priorities in international media, and various aspects of presenting Bangladesh's positive image to the world.

During the meeting, both identified the spread of propaganda and misinformation on various digital platforms, including social media, as a major challenge and cause for concern.

In order to counter such propaganda, detailed discussions were held on effective communication strategies, ensuring rapid flow of information, presenting accurate information, and measures needed to strengthen Bangladesh's position on digital platforms.

The Information Minister highlighted the measures taken by the ministry in this regard and stressed that the government, media, and all concerned parties should work together effectively to counter false and misleading information.

At that time, officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Information were present.
