Major reshuffle in administration, 7 senior assistant secretaries transferred

The government has again made a major reshuffle in the administration. Seven officers of the BCS (Administration) cadre have been transferred, posted and withdrawn. According to a notification of the Ministry of Public Administration, these orders, issued in the public interest on Thursday (August 13), will take effect immediately.

According to the notification, Nawabganj upazila UNO Dilruba Islam has been transferred to the post of Additional District Commissioner (ADC) of Munshiganj. Kotalipara upazila UNO Sagufta Haque has been posted as ADC of Shariatpur. The two officers have also been given the powers of Additional District Magistrate.

On the other hand, Narsingdi ADC Mahmuda Begum has been transferred to the Ministry of Environment, Kochua upazila UNO Mahmudul Hasan Russell to the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, and Trishal upazila UNO Arafat Siddique to the Ministry of Public Administration as Senior Assistant Secretary.

In addition, Isita Akter, Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Mirpur upazila in Kushtia, has been withdrawn from that post and attached to the office of the Divisional Commissioner, Khulna. Besides, the earlier transfer order of Jannatul Mawa, Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Keraniganj, has been cancelled.
