As the vessel could not anchor at the Summit LNG terminal in Maheshkhali, supply from there has dropped from 500 million cubic feet per day to 100 million cubic feet. Meanwhile, with partial supply also continuing from the Accelerate Energy terminal, total supply to the national grid from both terminals now stands at about 400 million cubic feet. This has created an acute gas crisis at the consumer level.
