BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that Sheikh Hasina's announcement of returning to politics is nothing but a 'demand to go to maternal uncle's house' and 'impertinence.' He made this remark at a discussion meeting organized on the occasion of the 57th birth anniversary of Arafat Rahman Koko in Pallabi, Dhaka, on Thursday.
Rizvi said, after killing thousands of people, the people will not accept Sheikh Hasina's statement. He wants to see justice. He said, those who have given shelter to Sheikh Hasina want to serve their own interests.

At the event, State Minister for Youth and Sports Aminul Haque said that over the past 17 years, BNP leaders and activists have been subjected to inhuman torture. He said, Tarique Rahman does not want politics of revenge; he wants to establish politics of justice.
