A Bangladeshi scholar at unique heights on the world stage
The preservation of Hadith is a unique characteristic of the Muslim Ummah. In the third century Hijri, during the era of compiling the Kutub Sittah (Sihah Sittah), 'Jami' Tirmidhi' gained special status. Bringing an end to the long wait for a commentary on this work of Imam Tirmidhi (RA), Bangladeshi scholar Maulana Abdul Matin has authored 'Kifayatul Mugtazi fi Sharhi Jami' at-Tirmidhi' in Arabic in 17 volumes, based on 25 years of research.

On August 5, at the formal publication ceremony of the book at the Krsibid Institution in Dhaka, world-renowned Darul Uloom Deoband's Muhtamim Maulana Abul Qasim Nomani, Baitul Mukarram's Khatib Maulana Abdul Malek, and other leading scholars from home and abroad were present. Nomani said that Imam Tirmidhi presented jurisprudential analysis alongside Hadith, which Maulana Abdul Matin has further enriched in his book. The Khatib of Baitul Mukarram, Abdul Malek, said this book will fill the long-standing gap in Hadith research.
