BNP has warned against the circulation of a press release on social media regarding a fake committee of its affiliate organization, Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal.
In a press release on Saturday (August 15), the party's Senior Joint General Secretary Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that on Friday (August 14), some self-interested conspiratorial quarters forged his signature and posted a press release on Facebook, which contained information regarding the Chhatra Dal committee.

He said the press release posted on Facebook is completely false, fabricated and maliciously motivated. No such press release bearing his signature was sent to the media from the BNP office.

Rizvi urged party leaders and activists at all levels not to be confused over this matter. He also requested them to remain cautious about such fake information circulating on social media.
