At the Jashore end of the event, State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Anindya Islam Amit MP handed over welfare benefit cheques to retired private teachers and employees on behalf of the Prime Minister.
Concerned people said that as retirement and welfare benefit money is being paid directly through the iBAS++ system, the process of receiving financial benefits for retired teachers and employees will become easier, faster and more transparent. At the same time, it is expected that harassment and complications in receiving benefits that have remained stuck for a long time will decrease.
According to official documents, the process of disbursing retirement benefits and welfare trust funds to MPO-listed teachers and employees of private educational institutions through iBAS++ has been launched through the Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) method.
Officials from various levels of Jashore, concerned officials of the education department, and retired private teachers and employees were present at the cheque distribution ceremony.
