The event was held on Sunday (August 16) from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm at East Coast Park Car Park F2, BBQ Pit F-49 in Singapore. The organizer of the event was the Singapore Bangladesh Society.

Bangladeshi expatriates' gathering in Singapore, Chittagong's traditional Mezbani arranged
The organizers' flyer mentioned various fun activities, sports, family entertainment and opportunities for mutual interaction for participants. In addition, as part of environmental awareness, a beach cleaning activity was also arranged.
One of the main attractions of the event was Chittagong's traditional Mezbani food. Serving this traditional Chittagong dish on foreign soil created an opportunity to further strengthen the connection of the new generation with Bangladeshi culture and food heritage.

Through this initiative of the Singapore Bangladesh Society, steps have been taken to strengthen family bonds, social harmony and mutual communication among Bangladeshis living in Singapore, as well as to showcase Bangladeshi culture and heritage.
The banner of the event mentioned the motto of the Singapore Bangladesh Society— “Our community, my responsibility”.
