China congratulates President Mirza Fakhrul

In a congratulatory message on Thursday, China greeted Mirza Fakhrul on his election as President. The message said that China is ready to work closely with Bangladesh to build a shared future for the two countries in the new era.

The country expressed hope that through mutual cooperation, greater well-being for the two countries and their peoples can be ensured.

It is noteworthy that BNP candidate Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was elected as the 23rd President by the votes of members of parliament.
