The President's official residence is Bangabhaban. Its maintenance, furniture, electricity, gas, water, telephone and other necessary expenses are borne by the state. For travel on state work, there are also facilities to use government aircraft, VIP saloons of the railway as required, and government water vessels.
The state also bears medical expenses for the President and his family members. If necessary, the cost of treatment abroad can also be borne under government arrangements. The PGR and SSF serve in the President's security.

Besides, for expenditure on public welfare and social work, there is a provision for allocating up to Tk 2 crore annually to the President's discretionary fund.
After the completion of tenure, a former President receives a monthly pension at the rate of 75 percent of the last drawn salary until death. According to the current salary, this amount is Tk 90,000. In addition, there are provisions for medical services, personal assistant, office attendant, diplomatic passport and official telephone facilities.
