Four Hafez winners of Quran competition in Saudi Arabia accorded reception at airport
The religious affairs minister congratulated the four Hafez and said that since all four Bangladeshi contestants were awarded, it is a matter of great honor and pride for the country.
In the competition, Muhammad Zakaria became first among men in the fourth group, and Rabeta Binte Ramzan became third among women. In the third group, Sheikh Muhammad Mahmudul Hasan and Musfira Binte Mahmud became third in both men's and women's categories.

Among the four winning Hafez, Muhammad Zakaria received 1 lakh 50 thousand Saudi riyals as first prize, and the other three received 1 lakh 30 thousand Saudi riyals each.
At the closing ceremony held at Masjid al-Haram on Wednesday, Prince Saud bin Mishal, Deputy Governor of the Makkah region, handed over the prizes to the winners. A total of 50 people were awarded in the competition held in five groups.
