The Directorate General of Health Services has said everyone aged one year or above can take this vaccine. However, pregnant women will not be included in this program. Vaccination is underway in 14 designated upazilas and thana areas of Dhaka's two city corporations as well as Kishoreganj, Narayanganj, Munshiganj and Brahmanbaria.

Pregnant women will not receive cholera vaccine

The first dose is being given from August 22. The second dose will be given from September 26. Eligible people have been advised to take two doses of the vaccine for protection against cholera.
Eligible citizens must register online to receive the vaccine.
