UNDP assures cooperation in Bangladesh's reform process

During a meeting with Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed at the Secretariat, UNDP Resident Representative Stephen Rodriguez expressed this interest.

The meeting discussed various issues including constitutional reform, Rohingya assistance, police capacity building, prevention of rumors and misinformation, the National Human Rights Commission Act, and the Prevention and Remedy of Enforced Disappearance Act.

The UNDP representative said they want to provide necessary support in implementing the government's goals and action plans. He also expressed interest in providing technical and institutional support for police training, cyber security, and combating misinformation on digital platforms.
