No fine for renewal of driving license and vehicle papers

According to the new decision, these documents can be updated without any fine by paying the principal tax and fees until next October 29. In this regard, the Road Transport and Highways Division has issued a notification.

The notification said, with the consent of the Finance Division, the deadline for renewal of all types of motor vehicles' necessary documents and driving licenses has been extended for the last time without fine by paying the principal tax and fees.

If renewal is completed within the stipulated time, no additional fine will have to be paid. The order has been effective immediately.
