US-Bangla to resume flights on Dhaka-Jashore route

Out of respect for the long-standing demand of the people of greater Jashore and with the aim of making air communication easier and more time-saving for passengers, US-Bangla Airlines, one of the country's leading private airlines, has decided to resume flight operations on the Dhaka-Jashore route.

From 9 September 2026, US-Bangla will operate a total of six flights—two each on three days a week—on the Dhaka-Jashore route, namely Saturday, Wednesday and Thursday. A 72-seat ATR 72-600 aircraft will be used on this route.

According to the new schedule, on Saturday, Wednesday and Thursday, the first flight will depart from Dhaka at 9:30 am and land in Jashore at 10:15 am. The same aircraft will leave Jashore for Dhaka at 10:45 am and land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:30 am.

In addition, the second flight of the day will depart from Dhaka at 4:45 pm and arrive in Jashore at 5:30 pm. It will then take off from Jashore for Dhaka at 6:00 pm and land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 6:45 pm.

The minimum one-way fare for US-Bangla on the Dhaka-Jashore route has been set at Tk 5,749 and the return fare at Tk 11,498. Applicable taxes and surcharges will be included in all the aforementioned fares.

US-Bangla Airlines began its journey by operating flights on the Dhaka-Jashore route on 17 July 2014. Since its inception, the airline has been playing an important role in expanding domestic air connectivity and establishing rapid and safe air links between Dhaka and people of different regions.

Currently, US-Bangla Airlines operates regular domestic flights from Dhaka to Cox's Bazar, Chattogram, Sylhet, Saidpur and Rajshahi routes. Continuing this trend, US-Bangla has decided to resume flights on the Dhaka-Jashore route, keeping in mind the long-standing expectations of the people of Jashore.

US-Bangla Airlines said the initiative to resume flights on this route has been taken considering the demand for air travel among the people of the greater Jashore region, as well as the need for faster connectivity with the rest of the country for business, medical treatment, education, tourism and other purposes. Depending on passenger demand and market conditions, increasing the number of flights on this route will also be considered in the future.
