Modi greets Muslims on Milad-un-Nabi

In a post on his verified Facebook page on Wednesday (August 26), he said, may this holy occasion bring unity and joy in everyone's lives.

Modi also expressed hope that the great teachings of kindness to people, compassion, and working for the welfare of society guide everyone.

It may be noted that today is 12 Rabiul Awwal, 1448 Hijri. The holy Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi is being observed with religious solemnity across the world in remembrance of the birth and life ideals of the great Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
