He said this at a milad and doa program organized on the occasion of holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH) in front of BNP's central office at Naya Paltan in the capital on Wednesday (August 26).
The Home Minister said that the law enforcement agencies have taken action in every crime that occurred within the six months of the government. The accused in the four sensational murders in Rangpur have also been arrested within a reasonable time.
He said that the government's necessary steps to control the law and order situation will continue and transparency and accountability of all forces will be ensured.
At the event, BNP Acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi called for establishing peace in society by following the ideals of the great Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
