Allegations have been raised of objectionable and unwanted behavior by couples at various places on the Gopalganj Science and Technology University campus. This has caused dissatisfaction among students. They have demanded effective steps by the administration and increased security surveillance to control the situation.
Students alleged that after evening, such incidents occur more in secluded places including the lake bank, coffee house, temple-adjacent area and central field. There are allegations that outsiders may also be involved.

Dr. Ahsan Saurav, proctor of the university, said the Ansar members have been instructed to remain alert about this and regular night patrols are being conducted. If anyone is found in an objectionable situation, the concerned department is being informed and warned. If the same incident recurs, guardians will be called and necessary measures will be taken.
