The J-10CE is a modern medium-weight multirole fighter jet. It features advanced radar, long-range air-to-air missiles, and modern combat capabilities. As the Bangladesh Air Force has long been using various Chinese technology-based platforms, it is expected that the addition of this new fighter jet will provide advantages in training and maintenance.
The government's Adviser on Policy, Strategy and Information Affairs, Zahed Ur Rahman, said that the process of purchasing the J-10CE and other military equipment is being advanced.
However, the deal has not been finalized yet. A final decision in this regard will be made after approval from the concerned departments and completion of subsequent procedures.
